Delete your account
Last updated: 3 September 2026
This page explains how to delete your SaveBox account and everything we hold
about you. It applies to the SaveBox Android app (package
live.savebox), published by SaveBox.
In short
Deleting your account is a hard delete, not a deactivation and not an anonymisation. Your account, your entire download history and every session are removed from our database, and the files those downloads produced are removed from our servers. We do not keep a blanked-out copy.
Option 1 — delete it in the app
This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.
- Open SaveBox and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when asked. The confirmation states exactly what will be removed.
You are signed out on every device as soon as it completes, and there is no waiting period or recovery window.
Option 2 — ask us by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or you cannot sign in, email ehsanrazzaq55@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my SaveBox account”.
Send it from the email address the account uses, so we can confirm the request is yours. We will not act on a deletion request we cannot verify, because doing so would let anyone delete anyone else’s account.
We action verified requests within 30 days, and in practice much sooner. You will get a reply confirming when it is done.
What is deleted
| Data | When |
|---|---|
| Your account — email address, name, profile picture and password hash | Immediately |
| Your entire download history — every URL, title, quality, file name and timestamp | Immediately |
| Every sign-in session and any pending password resets | Immediately |
| Files on our servers produced by your downloads | Immediately, and in any case within 24 hours |
What is kept, and why
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| An anonymous install record: platform and app version | It describes the installation of the app, not you. It holds no email, no name and no download history, and it is not linked to a deleted account. | Indefinitely |
| Videos you already saved to your phone | They are on your device, not ours. We have no access to them and cannot remove them. | Until you delete them yourself |
Nothing else survives a deletion. We keep no backup copy of your history for analytics, recovery or any other purpose.
Removing a single download
Removing an item from the Downloads or History screen clears it from that device’s list. It does not delete the record of that download from our servers — we do not currently offer per-item deletion on the server side.
Deleting your account, using either option above, is what removes your download history from our servers in full.
